1. Cost-per-click (CPC)
2. Cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM)
3. Cost-per-acquisition (CPA)

With regards to reaching potential customers, either of two targeting options can be used (or both which is better):
1. Google does the targeting. Google will serve the adverts to “relevant” sites on its Content Network, based on the landing website’s content and chosen keywords
